Prospects is a Christian voluntary organisation, that values and supports people with learning disabilities. Causeway Prospects Scotland is a mission whose work is to make the love of God known to the 120,000 people with learning disabilities in Scotland. This is largely achieved by awareness raising and equipping local churches for Bible teaching, worship and support.
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Christian with a vision for the
inclusion of people with learning disabilities in local churches. You will take a lead
role in raising awareness among churches of all denominations throughout Scotland and provide training and encouragement in setting up local Causeway groups. You will be a self starter with initiative and be a strong communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Computer literate and car driver essential.
Under Employer Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003, Section 7), this post has a Genuine Occupational Requirement to be a Christian. The successful applicant will be committed to the Mission ethos, aims and objectives of Prospects and will be able to demonstrate clear evidence of Christian commitment.
